With the multitude of hairdressers in Melbourne, this refitting of a salon became about the re-branding. We looked how a logo or label became to mean something beyond its name. Our attempt was to use the logo as not only as symbol but a brand imprinted onto the interior. Something that then distinguished the brand. Given also the meaning of the company name, we then used it’s meaning to establish the process of placing the name through the interior.
